To be honest it is very hard to calculate this statistic for all season especially in the past. Nevertheless, I see potential for improvement here.

A small side note on that. In fact I tried to find a statistic that goes something like the direction you suggest and I found one. It is known as 0ver.500, so how does a team perform against teams that have a positive record. Of course this feature is not a 1:1 match to your suggestion but still it brings a new aspect to the process.
